NewtA Discord autorole bot
Pick the roles every new member should get, and Newt gives them out the moment somebody joins.
Bots get their own list, so a new bot doesn't end up with your member roles.
What it does
- Several roles at once, given in a single request
- A separate bot autorole list
- Waits for rules to be accepted, where your server asks for that
- The dashboard shows which roles the bot can't give, and why
How to set it up
On the dashboard, open your server, find Autorole, tick the roles you want and save. From Discord, run
/autorole addonce per role.Drag the bot's own role above the roles you are handing out, in Server Settings then Roles. Discord will not let any bot give out a role that sits above its own, whatever permissions it has.

Questions
- Is it free?
- Yes. A free server can give out 10 roles on join, and Premium raises that to 25.
- Why isn't the role being given?
- Nearly always the role order. Drag the bot's role above the roles it hands out, in Server Settings, then Roles.
- Why did the role arrive late?
- If your server makes people accept rules first, Discord throws away roles given before that, so Newt waits until they accept.
