Make your server's own commands, like !rules or !socials. Pick a name and what it does, and it works the moment you save.

A command can answer with text, give or take a role, or both. Give it several answers and it picks one at random.

On the dashboard, open your server, go to the Custom commands tab, and give a command a name. That's the word people will type after a !.
Then pick what it does: words the bot answers with, a role it gives, a role it takes away, or words and a role together. The reply can go where it was typed, to a channel you choose, or by DM. Save, and it works immediately. No sync, no restart.
Write several response lines and the bot picks one at random each time, which is how you make a !quote or !8ball of your own.
